The course does contain assignments. But I don't like to think of them as assignments. Assignments are used to evaluate you, to keep you in line, they're used to traumatize you in childhood. I don't like assignments and you probably don't either. Instead I like to think of what we're doing as invitations. They're invitations for you to play around with and experiment with the concepts I'll be presenting. They're not evaluative, your performance is not being judged, I'm not going to reprimand you if you don't do them.
