• When I'm too focused on experiencing pleasure in this very moment, I might miss a deeper pleasure that comes from doing what is right. That can be pleasurable and painful at the same time.

  • Slowing down in my view serves two functions:

    • Seeing and feeling the beauty that is already here. Seeing that change is already happening on every level, always.
    • Seeing what is not in alignment yet. Facing my pain and suffering, being informed by it so that I can take meaningful action to change it.
