- people not really supress what they dont wanna see, they just fail to unpack then
- unpacking means getting to the bottom of things and to be able to connect the dots in a sensibly manner
- we are often get a sense disgust about our self for not having made the things we feel we should have
- sense into disgust about yourrself to recapture/reclaim the sense of urgency
- unpacking is effortful so we should have compassion for people who find themself unable to do so
- assessing assumptions seems to be one important step
