- Elevator Pitch: if you want more clear space with whatever you are doing you need to capture stuff that has your attention, clarify exactly what it means and what you're going to do about it if anything, park the results of that thinking in some trusted external brain that you then review and reflect on some regular basis, so you feel totally confident about your choises and what you do and as importantly what you are not doing.

- How to connect different gtd systems?
- The best are totally present when they're talking. There are there and are not too much distracted. They leave work early. Why, because its handled. They are not modelling "sweat more", they are modelling being present. Being present will be one of the most attractive and intimidating things you can do in your organization. The organization my have an addication to ambient axcienty but you need to get to that place yourself.

- GTD is not some external thing to throw on top of something, it is an uncovering of what the core best practives are (standpoints: business, relationship, self-management, etc.)

- I don't care. How does electricity care how you are using it? You deside how you wanna use that.
- If i can help people feel more confident about themself, they'll be less interested in doing nefarious things.

- Be careful you implement gtd, you might have a lot of people leave because they just not gonna stand people not being accountable to themself and clear of what they wanna do and their agreements.
- We often feel like we need to treat people in a way the does not correspond with our believe on how we want to treat them by the focus on outcome or the getting things done mindset. To really meet people i almost always have to abandon the outcome. Similarly if i honor my commitments(responsibilities) i am not really honoring who i am. I find that being flaky or irresponsible expressive an important part of what i find meaningful and what i want to become. Its actually in opposition to the kind of integrity that i believe now. What do you think about that?

- You said i'm trying to get things done and so what i'm not getting done is a quality of life and a quality of personal experience and expression. So you just told me different things you wanna get done. So don't try to fool me that you're no into getting things done.
- Questioner: In getting things done the satisfaction comes at the end. But for many things the satisfaction is in the moment. Maybe there is a missunderstanding in the terminology.

- How clear is the role that they have; how clear is the agreements they've made; how clear is it that the person who is managing keeping track on a consistent basis.
- It comes down to what are your agreements with them. What have they agreed with you about. Are you keeping tack of that and how do you manage conversation if that agreement is not being kept from your perceptions.
- It's alot about communication but alot about clearity of role and clearity of agreements.
- Fire their ass or coach them. Unique to the situation.

- We want to make sure we are singing from the same song sheet.

- Sometimes distractions can be your subconsious way to tell you that you should refocus your priorities. Wondering if this process that you describe are sufficient to make sure that your priorities are the right ones.
- That's why i developt gtd.
- My personal style is: i love to be free to do my intuitive Spontaneous choices moment to moment. So what i did was figure out how to get rid of all that stuff that prevents me from being able to listen to that still small voice that may say David stop you need to go spend time with your dog or with your wife or with yourself. The whole purpose of this stuff is to open you up to your intuitive wisdom.
- And then live and learn because those voices can come from all different places (some say go propcreate, or eat this, etc.)
- Managing your inner committee inside your head and where are those coming from
- There is one way to make sure you can better at that and that is automatic and it' called getting older
- relax get older and follow huntches and see where it goes.
- Advide to younger self: Per more attention to what you want than listen to want others want from you
- Meditation has efforded me to know how my body does not agress with my mind so i got more clear. I am curious what you think about embodied self-awareness and how that plays into the role of productivity because the voices in your head would causes by somatic experience and so i used that to see what i should take care of.
- So yes there is a lot of message that you body has but i think basically your spirit is the one that embodies the body and that is the thing i would listen to
- gtd is ont spiritual itself other than everything is spiritual in which case it would be. But if you an inclination or intention to listen to the more subtle voice and information sounds and sources of energy, that you need to quiet your world in order to get to.
- The univeris is always on. It is never quite. We get quite. We can listen to different parts of the univers that is always on.
- The body has a lot of intelligence to it itself but the intelligence is also driven by higher levels of the energy fields that we are engaged with that we can't see but have access to. I would more listen to what my spirit's telling me that what my body's telling me. I listen to both but don't ignore either one. Your spirit uses your body as the information vehicle
- How to make the jump between using gtd and working through insecurities?
- Ask anybody who has implemented gtd and see how much more secure and confident they feel about themself.
- Many have experienced a better feeling after having made a list.
- My comment: gtd is it it's most material and simplest form just a list.
- It changed how you are engaged with your world
- So simply making a list got you more involved from a higher perspective in space in time about who you are and what you are doing to so you felt a lot more confident to get to the grocery store.
- It give me the the freedom to by things that are not on the list!
- It's about feeling more confident about totally anything.
- So don't shoot the messeger but if you have all those things under control, believe me your sense of self-confidence and self-efficacy are going to go out to the roof.
- People sometimes get so confident they start to overwhelm themselves with options and possibilities.
- As a manager i resonated with what you basically said what i call "managing you manager". Some can do this naturally and others don't and it's one of the hardest things i find to coach. Is this something you run into and have suggestions around that.
- I think it's true for anybody. Anybody that you've put up as an authoriy figure is going to be intimidating to you to show up be vulnratable. I just have them do some personal growth training, making sure they feel more confidence. gtd would help
